Antique Browns: Antiques & Collectables
Browns Antiques have enjoyed dealing in antiques and collectables over a period of many years. Our shop in the Northern Dales was a honey pot for antiques enthusiasts and our reputation grew over the years as honest traders who dealt only in good quality, genuine items. We were proud to have built up a customer base from far and wide.
Our move south in 2004 presented an opportunity to review our plans for the future and subsequently we decided to move forward with the times. We dispensed with the traditional method of selling via a shop to focus on reaching out to a wider audience on-line with the new name, Antique Browns. Our stock covers a wide range, to include furniture and boxes, mainly old English oak, metalware, kitchenalia, ceramics, vintage textiles and vintage handbags.
Restoration Any restoration required to items such as furniture and metalware is sensitively carried out in house. Our policy is to retain the beauty and genuine character of the piece. We preserve the past wherever possible, and ensure that the item is in sound condition and working order so that it may continue to bring pleasure for many years to come.
